Deeya Chopra bags the role of Byjayanti in Kashi..

Deeya Chopra who was last seen in Laado will now play the grown-up Byajayanti in Imagine's Kashi post leap..



TellyBuzz had reported yesterday that Melanie Pais, sister of known actress Melissa Pais wil play the title role in Imagine and Film Farm's Kashi ..Ab Na Rahe Tera Kaagaz Khora.

We give our readers more information on the actress to portray the role of Kashi's best friend from childhood, Byjayanti now!!

As per our source, "Deeya Chopra who was last seen essaying the girl friend of Raghav in COLORS' Na Aana Is Desh Laado has been finalized to play the rich girl Byjayanti. Both Melanie and Deeya have shot for the promo which will be on air very soon".

The generation leap in Kashi is expected to take place in the second week of June.

Byjayanti who is from a rich family will grow up to be the fun loving and chirpy girl who is very much affectionate towards her friends Kashi and Shaurya.

When contacted, Deeya Chopra confirmed the news and said, "Yes I am playing Byjayanti in Kashi post leap. This is one role which I have not done before (smiles)".

The actors will start shoot in a couple of days.
